Qui-Gon Jinn | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Qui-Gon Jinn is regarded as something of a maverick by the Jedi Council, the Jedi Master Qui-Gon is an experienced and powerful warrior. Noble, patient, and wise, Qui-Gon is closely attuned to the living force, and his empathy for other living things is perhaps his greatest strength, even as it leads him to follow his own path. Qui-Gon is a source of leadership and knowledge for his headstrong apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Together, they make a formidable team. It is Qui-Gon who travels to the remote planet of Tatooine, meets a young boy name Anakin Skywalker and brings him to the Jedi Council for testing. It is Qui-Gon who sets in motion the destiny of the one who will bring about both the fall and the rebirth of the Jedi.
Obi-Wan Kenobi | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Obi-Wan Kenobi is a Jedi apprentice, or Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi has nearly completed his training under Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn. While he possesses all the noble qualities of a Jedi Knight, he is also fairly head strong and impatient. Still young, he is energentic and quick to action. Obi-Wan is a trustworthy companion, if naive at times. He greatly admires Qui-Gon and cares deeply for his mentor, but is often frustrated with the decisions he makes including Qui-Gons tendency to take other life forms under his wing. Obi-Wan is more inclined to follow the rules. He is quick to impress his Master, resourceful, and shows the makings of a great Jedi Knight.
